As a small company we recognise the need to have good governance, both clinical and corporate, at the heart of everything we do. To this end we see the value in having external support and scrutiny of our services and therefore have established an Advisory Board to support, advise and help shape these services. The Board has within its membership the following individuals who have substantive health & social care, governance and compliance backgrounds.
Rhodri Glyn Thomas AM, born and bred in Wrexham has chaired the National Assembly Health and Social Care Committee and served as a Cabinet Member in the One Wales Administration. v
Richard Edwards from Prestatyn has served on both Clwyd Health Authority, North Wales Police Authority and several consumer standards bodies. He formally advised the Welsh Affairs Select Committee on Children and Families issues.v
Rhiannon Wyn Hughes MBE is a former Leader of Denbighshire Council and was lately Vice Chair of the Welsh Arts Council. She currently Chairs the Scala Arts Centre Trust and sits on the British Advisory Councils Wales Board.
Prof Clare Wenger from Flintshire is a renowned gerontologist, researcher and governmental advisor on health standards who has held senior academic appointments in California and North Wales.
Nick Colbourne JP from Wrexham is a former member of Wrexham County Borough Council and lately chaired the Advisory and Standards Board of one of Wales’ largest independent healthcare providers.
